Bosch LBB 1965 Plena Message Manager message manager supports up to 12 digital audio messages stored in an internal 64 Mbit EEPROM, ensuring playback without the need for backup battery retention. Messages are uploaded using a PC via RS-232 interface, and the system operates completely stand-alone once configured. Standard WAV linear PCM format is supported (8 kHz–24 kHz, 16-bit), providing CD-quality playback with up to 500 seconds of total recording time.

A major strength of the Bosch LBB 1965 is its flexible message triggering system. There are 12 contact closure trigger inputs, and each can be configured to play a programmed sequence of messages — up to four per trigger. When integrated with the LBB 1925/10 Plena System Pre-Amplifier, each trigger can also be linked to specific audio zones for precise message routing.

Bosch LBB 1965 Plena Message Manager Priority handling is built-in: Inputs 1–6 are high-priority and accessible only via the rear connector to prevent accidental activation, while Inputs 7–12 are also available on the front panel for convenient control.
