Bosch PRA-APAS PA Server is an industrial-grade PC with pre-installed licensed software, specifically designed to act as the advanced public address server within the PRAESENSA system. It delivers business-related PA functions such as background music control, streaming, message management, and operator-based announcements — while the system controller continues to handle all emergency-related operations.

To ensure maximum cybersecurity and operational integrity, the Bosch PRA-APAS PA Server supports two completely separate network connections:
✔ A secure PRAESENSA network port for audio routing and control
✔ A corporate Internet-enabled network with firewall protection

This dual-network design allows operator devices (PCs, tablets, etc.) to access advanced audio functions via a standard web browser, while keeping the life-safety network isolated from external access.

The Bosch PRA-APAS PA Server stores music and recorded messages in internal memory and supports streaming from online music services and Internet radio. Operators can easily select zones using graphical layouts and adjust background music sources and volume per zone.

Other advanced features include live call recording with pre-monitoring, message scheduling, multi-lingual text-to-speech announcement creation using online services, and playback to selected zones.

This server integrates with the PRAESENSA system controller via the PRAESENSA Open Interface for seamless business-related public address control, while maintaining strict separation from emergency paging priority logic.

The Bosch PRA-APAS PA Server is ideal for malls, corporate buildings, airports, and entertainment venues requiring centralized, flexible, and secure commercial audio management.
