Graphical Fire Alarm Monitoring Software
The Bosch Fire Monitoring System provides a graphical overview of fire alarm system devices and their locations. Operators can place detectors and other system devices on imported floor plans, assign objects to maps, and organize buildings into sub-maps.
When an event occurs, the software can automatically zoom into the relevant sub-map to help operators identify the affected area.
Event management and reporting
The software displays event information, alarm conditions, and device errors in an organized dashboard and detailed event list. Operators can view the last 10 events or alarms associated with an object.
The event log records procedures and actions, supports searches by different criteria, and allows reports to be generated, backed up, printed, and exported to Excel.
User rights management
Access permissions are managed through customizable user groups. Rights can be assigned for different sources, maps, alarm zones, and devices. Users may belong to one or more groups, and allowed commands and mandatory actions, such as notes, can be configured for individual users.
System compatibility and networking
The Fire Monitoring System supports connection to a standalone fire alarm panel or a network of panels. It is compatible with Bosch AVENAR panel 8000, AVENAR panel 2000, FPA-5000, and FPA-1200 systems.
Panel connections can be established through an Ethernet connection using copper or fiber optic media converters. The system can also connect to a CAN network according to the supported network configuration.
Installation and configuration
A setup wizard guides installation and configuration. Automatic transfer of the panel configuration to the software allows comfortable object management, including predefined sensors.
Floor plans can be imported in DWG and DXF formats. The software requires dedicated hardware and supported Windows operating systems.
